Fractional CO2 laser resurfacing
Some skin concerns sit deeper than the surface: acne scarring, sun damage built up over years, crepey texture, pigmentation and lines that no serum seems to touch. These reflect changes in the deeper layers of the skin, and that is where fractional CO2 laser works.
How it works
The laser creates thousands of microscopic treatment zones while leaving the skin around them intact. This removes a fraction of the damaged surface and delivers controlled heat into the dermis, prompting the skin to repair itself and remodel collagen over the following months.
May help with
Skin texture · fine lines and wrinkles · crepey skin, including around the eyes · pigmentation and sun damage · enlarged pores · certain types of acne scarring · stretch marks
What to expect
CO2 laser involves downtime. Skin is typically red, swollen and rough as it heals, with peeling over several days; how long depends on the intensity of treatment and your skin. Improvements develop gradually as collagen remodels. One to three sessions may be recommended, and you will have detailed aftercare and support throughout.
Is it right for me?
Not always, and that matters. Your skin type, pigmentation risk, medical history, medication, previous treatments and how much downtime you can manage all need assessing first. Some women are better suited to RF microneedling or a skin programme.
